I was trying to find a Linkin Park journal skin, but i found a Chester Bennington one, oh well, he's EPIC!
try to say my journal title...5 times FAST! just try it!!!
okies, so this story begins, with my dream of joining both my love for photography and ROCK music into a future career.
My warped pics of my first time attending this year, were noticed by a concert photographer, She has her own group
and website www.soundcheck411.com, check it OUT!!
I was asked to volunteer as a photographer in her team. So I frantically tried to find concert dates that I could cover. LP concert was on August 12, 2012 at the Mohegan Sun, CT. I actually had another concert planned for a small band from CA in NYC, but they cancelled due to some misfortunes they had....
So my bf had an extra ticket for the LP concert and I got the OK on the photo pass, I was good to go, but I was shaking from nervousness...The pressure WAS IMMENSE since it was my first concert I was going to cover as an amateur photographer. I never done anything like this before...I was a newbie, in FULL PANIC MODE!
At the concert, I was the only newbie, among professionals and experienced photographers, it was quite intimidating. At least 2 girls talked to me, and I made 2 aquaintances, whom are following me on twitter.
I decided to practice with the SLR camera I had for the show, most likely heavier than me, and take pictures of the opening band MuteMath. They were pretty alrite, I was required to only take pictures for the first 3 songs and NO flash, the same routine for when LP performed.
When LP appeared and the crowd cheered, I started taking pictures during their first three songs. To have the LP guys so close...was amazing!
Sadly Joe Hahn and Rob were put too far away for me to take pics of them
Mike shinoda seems like such a swell guy, he would move around on stage and smile alot. Chester on the other hand, would move around alot, but he's much more serious when he performs, I think that's why they make such a great team!
My bf and his concert buddy were right at the barricade and they told me that the LP guys made a lot of eye contact, that's pretty wicked cool!
I cannot STRESS ENOUGH HOW AMAZING LP IS LIVE! EVERY LP FAN SHOULD SEE THEM!
The huge ass screen behind the band, was fantastic, it worked well with the crowd.
I'm planning on taking my brother to see them live, as his first concert experience. I'm sure he'll never forget it!!
The events after the concert, shall not be talked about ever. I'm taking it to my grave.
alrite that's me for today! check out my DA page for more concert reviews and concert photos and shit!!!
